๐ Welcome to your Etsy Seller Dashboard
This dashboard shows your real take-home profit after Etsy fees, item costs, shipping and expenses. It takes about 10 minutes to set up.
โ๏ธ Step 1: Set your shop settings (2 min)
On the Dashboard, open ๐ My Shop in the ๐ This Month section and fill in:
- Monthly Profit Goal: the take-home amount you want each month.
- Fee fields: the dashboard starts with common US Etsy fees (6.5% transaction, 3% + $0.25 processing, $0.20 listing). Etsy fees change and vary by country, so check yours in Shop Manager โ Finances โ Payment account and update these numbers.
๐ท Step 2: Add your products (5 min)
In ๐ Products & Stock, click + New for each item. Add the price, what one item costs you to make, and how many you have in stock. You'll see ๐ก when you're down to 3 or fewer.
๐ฆ Step 3: Log each order (30 sec per order)
When an Etsy order comes in, click + New in ๐ฆ Orders to Ship. Pick the product, enter the qty, sale price, shipping charged, your label cost and the ship-by date. Fees, profit and margin fill in on their own.
Shipped it? Change Status to Shipped. It drops off the to-ship list.
๐งพ Step 4: Log expenses as you buy
Supplies, packaging, Etsy Ads, software: add them in ๐งพ Expenses. They come out of your monthly net profit.
๐ Clear the sample data (1 min)
- Open ๐ Databases.
- Open Orders, Products and Expenses one at a time, select all rows (click the first checkbox, then Shift-click the last) and press Delete.
- โ ๏ธ Keep the ๐ My Shop row in Shop Settings. Your totals live there.
๐ก Tips
- Totals in ๐ This Month reset on their own on the 1st of each month.
- Add orders from the Dashboard so they link to ๐ My Shop automatically. If you add one inside the Databases page, set its Shop field to ๐ My Shop.
